A couple ARS questions, please answer

Hi, I have had a hard time trying to find answers about ARS. If anyone can please help me.

In my case 25 days after exposure I started with a 102.4 fever at night with nasal congestion, throughout the next day the majority of the rest of my symptoms came including, headache, swollen lymph nodes in neck, bad chills, night sweats 2 nights, slight cough, yellow-greenish mucus, loss of appetite and overall weakness and not wanting to do anything, all this with still a fever and the congestion. The same day that I got these symptoms I started medicine and after an overall 3-4 days of having these symptoms I began to feel better, fever went down, chills and headache left for most part.

When these symptoms were starting to leave I thought I was in the clear but then I began to notice a horribly sore throat with white patches on my tonsils and very hard to swallow. We called the doctor and my medicine got switched and after another 3 or 4 days my patches and throat felt better. 2 days after the patches and soreness in my throat were gone I began to notice a rash starting on the inside of my right wrist which expanded up my arm to my elbow and then another rash on the inside of my left arm and then another found on inside of right ankle. All within a 2 day period. The rashes are light pink slightly raised and usually don't itch unless i touch them or my clothes rubbed up againts them. This rash I still have today and is finally starting to leave after a week.

Sorry for the long background of my symptoms but does any of this sound like ARS? My sickness post-exposure occured during days 25-32 and then 2 days of feeling ok and then a week of the rash from 34-41 days after. I've heard that ARS happens between 2-4 weeks, which fits, and that the  rash doesn't itch and is usually on the torso. Unfortunetly I've also seen that ARS occurs between 2-6 weeks, that the rash can itch and that it usually starts on the torso, neck and arms( where my rashes are for the most part).

Can someone that knows about ARS please clear this up for me and let me know if my situation that I went though sounds like ARS. I know that you can't figure out if you have HIV with symptoms and the best thing to do is get tested, I know this and am getting tested in one week and got tested once already at 25 days after exposure (neg.), and began with my sickness later that very night. Hopefully can shed some light on this for me and my situation and to help other on here that might not know much about ARS. Thank you so much in advance for everyones help!

I dunno ARS symptoms, except that any number of the symptoms you named are included, and then just as many aren't. Stop reading about symptoms, b/c most can be easily be caused by stress even! So forget symptoms.

Read the doctor archives if you want to know your "risk level"- I'm sure your situation isn't the first of its kind they've heard- but in terms of this public forum, you had unprotected=risk=testing (3mon/12week for conclusive negative)

Oh I forgot to mention that while I was sick I also got two cold sores or what seemed like cold sores as well, but I don't know if that makes any difference. Again thanks for any help you can give!

My exposure was unprotected vaginal sex, I know it's not way up there on the risk level but i'm still freaked, especially since with my sickness and rash that I just had happened to come during when most people say is when ARS symptoms come! So i'm trying to find out as much as I can about it and if my situation sounds like ARS, I'm going to get tested in a week but the wait *****! If you or if you know of anyone that knows about this please help me, thank you!
