A night of drinking turning bloody

Dear Dr. H,I'm very thankful for this forum since it already took a great deal of anxiety away from ... however, there is still a great deal left, even though I also got some reassuring answer in the patient - to - patient forum.
My story: Went to Singapore on a business trip ,drank toooo much,ended up in a disco with lots of "friendly" ladies. Found myself with a Vietnamese one in my room.I think, I used a condom (but too drunk to know). We had vag interc. for about 20 minutes. After that I found that she was on her first day of period...blood was over the condom and over my pubic area. I washed it away and sprayed some anti-germ stuff on my penis. 2 days later my penis was red and skin pealed (probably anti germ stuff and penis don't go together well). 3 days later I got a burning on/in my penis (seems to change form urethra to shaft skin). I also found a red area on shaft(no pimples, yet).The red area stayed for 2 days. I applied some cortisone and it went away for a day but came back the next day. The burning seems to be most prominent when I'm sitting and basically is gone when I walk. My questions: 1. What do you think is my risk of contracting HIV - given she was a SW and the blood? 2. What are my chance of contracting Herpes from this exposure? The red area is at a place that should have been covered by the condom (basically in the middle of the shaft) 3. I'm planning to get tested at the 3 week mark ? 4. When to test for Herpes? As some of you learned before me, there was a software glitch and a number of questions were misrouted to a server that did not post them properly. In addition, it appears that the automated limit to number of questions each day did not work properly. The result is a serious backlog. To your question:
1) The chance you were infected is almost zero, regardless of blood. The odds are strong your partner didn't have HIV, and you used a condom. So the blood doesn't matter.
2) I cannot calculate the risk of herpes. It is low.
3) Wait and get tested for HIV at 4-6 weeks, not 3 weeks.
4) I recommend against testing for HIV unless you develop symptoms that suggest herrpes.

thank you for your answer. I have canceled the PCR test and I will take an Antibody test at 4 weeks, now. If I understood right, that should be around 80 - 90% accurate?!
I will do that for peace of mind and another one can be at 8 weeks to make finally sure. The Herpes scare before, I don't think it really was anything but irritated. I have since a week a headache which feels like accompanied by slight fever, but I guess this is also not suggestive of ARS.
If you could just confirm my statement above, I will be more than happy and rested.
