and fingering), but here at the forum I was assessed as no risk and, at first, it was difficult for me to accept that I really did not have a risky exposure. I went to the doctor and I decided to get tested and he told me that I should wait about three weeks to get tested as the test I took in the laboratory has a conclusive result at around a month after exposure. I wait 2 months (58 days exactly) just to feel safe
practiced with Vitros Eciq technology, and the technique used was Chemiluminescence.
I respect the work that Lizzie Lou, Teak and the others are doing here in the forum and I don't want to contradict what they say about the time to get tested (3 months IS conclusive), but as they assessed me as no risk and the doctor also told me that at 2 months after the exposure I could feel ok as I was HIV free, I decided not to get tested again as it would be just a waste energy and preoccupation.
What I did when waiting the long two months before getting tested, was to pray and ask life to give me another opportunity to try to be a better person, a better human being and give life the importance it deserves, and to realize how bad I was treating myself.
The final comment I would like to highlight is: believe in what you are told here. Here in the forum there is a group of very compromised people who are doing a very important community work which I would like to congratulate as you helped me a lot and are helping a large amount of people.
