ARS sweats....why the sweat?

Is there a reason for the sweats associated with ARS? Is it because of a fever or independent of that?
Does the sweating go on and on or does it come and go? I am still worried about possible exposure and although I am in a hot country, I felt a sweat come on today but I dont think I have any fever and I cant see any other symptoms.

Someone please help me and explain the ARS sweat.

Also I forgot to ask, can you sweat during the day too and if so, does the sweat sort of come and go during the day....like you feel a sweat for 5 or 10 minutes and then it dries up and then you might get another one and so on. I have sweated today and mine goes away, but every now and then I sweat a bit and it has worried me. I do not have a fever though or any swollen glands that I can see.

Can someone give me an answer?

HIV night sweats occurs with fever (because of the fever).
If you had no fever, then HIV is not your problem..

My guess, anxiety.
I have had night sweats because of anxiety, if that makes you feel any better ;)

hey thanks sweguy...actually last night I did not have a night sweat so it was (hopefully) the heat of the sun during the day plus anxiety.

Can I ask you, how do you know it is because of the fever?
