ARS symptom? Scary timing...

Hello,

My posting here is driven more by anxiety than by the facts... Still, exactly 2 weeks after having protected vaginal sex and unprotected oral with this guy I know, I started developing some kind of stomach bug like symptoms. It's the third day today. It started with a headache and a mild stomach upset. Yesterday was similar but better. Today I've been feeling a bit sick and generally unwell and I had a mild form of diarrhoea. I might have had a temperature too, but not high.

I am very scared by the timing... Classic time of onset of ARS symptoms. I know it's silly, but just for reassurance, are the above symptoms potentially anything to do with ARS, regardless of my exposure? We did use a condom but then as a woman I can't be 100% sure it was consistently used. I did ask my partner and he confirmed he always had the condom on during the penetrative sex. I'm not too worried about the oral part. I'd be fine if it weren't for these weird symptoms 2 weeks later! I keep telling me it's just a coincidence!

I really need to hear the voice of reason here - anyone's! Thank you!

Thank you. Are gastrointestinal symptoms a feature of ARS? Sorry to ask...
