ARS????

If Guillain Barre were to occur in ARS would it generally occur with other more 'typical' ARS/HIV symptoms or could it also occur on its own with no other symptoms?

really, wow that's a great relief.  I read on the body that it was and 7 days past exposure I started getting weak and tingly legs.... freaked me out a bit.  Thanks

Just so that I know what are the symptoms of ARS, alot of websites say different things and it would be great to know what REALLY ARE ARS symptoms and what are BS?

I understand that but surely with ARS there are typical symptoms... no???  So if HIV has no specific symptoms then does that mean that GBS could be present in ARS?

ok thanks,  am just scared at the moment. Feel like a complete idiot as I had unprotected sex, have no other symptoms other than this potential GBS.  In order to get through to the time to test I was just curious about whether or not this GBS Is common in ARS or if it did present it would do so with other more typical symptoms.

I know I need to test and I will. Was just looking for some guidance until then.

if you could just tell me if the following sounds like  ARS to you I would be most grateful, if it does then I may well consider doing an RNA PCR test:


3 days post exposure:  severe sore throat for 5 days with some dry cough
8 days post exposure:  numbness in legs with some tingling sensations

Sorry don't want to bang on about symptoms as I understand what you have said but if you could just give me some advice i'd appreciate it.  I really don't want to get sucked in to google!!!
