After 3 weeks of possible infection, i experienced 39c fever, diahrea and nause for 3 days, does this sound like ARS?
is it true ARS lasts 7 days or longer?
i read the most comon symptom for ARS are swollen lymph nodes and fever. is that true?

there seems to be so much disagreement abt how long does the virus last outside the host, some people say up to 7 hours, other say no more than 10 seconds. the same with ARS, some say it shows within 2 weeks, the others say it shows even at 8 weeks. and im not talking abt whats heard on the streets, but what is said in diferent medical institutions.

dude i've experience almost all  HIV symptoms and was able to test Negative on my 7th week which is past the average seroconvertion period for people testing positive but not conclusive. i dont care what peolple say about this about that only an HIV test will determine your status. i dont believe what other people say period. the only thing i believe is the test result and thats final. if you keep thinking or obsessing about HIV i will take you no where trust me ive been there.  as you've been told symptom lack of symptoms day of ars what so ever dont mean jack here only test results do.

ARS symptoms start 2-4 weeks after exposure, at least thats what I have read.

Please Pulsar....most of us are getting symptoms and most of us stress about it!  But sooner or later you need to accept that...

symptoms are never a reliable indication of HIV/ARS.  Only a test at 3 months is conclusive, but testing negative at 1 month-6weeks should be very reassuring.

Take care.

ars symptoms start 4 - 6 weeks after infection. dont blame every symptoms you feel on HIV it might be something else. lymp nodes swell duing infection dont be surprise be cause its doing good job fighting infection. even a common cold can cause your cervical node to swell. none of your symptoms are related to HIV so Relax. if your symtoms bother you see a Doctor. symptoms or lack of symptoms are not reliable source for diagnosing HIV only a Test will tell you where you stand.

RELAX you'll be fine
