ATTENTION: Monkeyflower and raj2005 PLEASE READ my response to your posting on my comment
I know that life can be stressful during good times and the bad. However, I have made some bad choices as a young adult. Now that everything is going well, I feel something bad is going to happen. Even when I catch a cold/flu I always associate it with a terrible disease (why does it have to be HIV
may not show up in a regular Labaratory blood sample and one day I will go in for a check up and have lab drawn again and it will show up positive for HIV
testing and I automatically assumed it was negative because the said if there was a problem they would give me a call. THEY never did! I continued with my regular check ups and they never said I had HIV did not give me medications to protect my baby while pregnant, so I assumed I was negative. They would have to inform me if my results were positive during pregnancy, right? Let me know because I did not answer the questions that I needed to at the time r/t fear of knowing? Would I be extremely sick since the exposure was in 2003? I dont know please respond?
If there was any prob with u they would have definitely informed u ...becoz
1) Its their duty
2) if u had hiv then they wud inform u so that u cud start the early therapy etc
3)u would have seen a panic etc kinds on their face when they dealt with u
4)THEY HAVE TO TELL U IF U HAVE HIV .....
They didnt tell u means.... NO HIV for u
U r free...
Enjoy urself...
They are more concerned abt their reputation than ur worries.... so dunt WORRY ..ur home free and FIT n Fine...
:)
I concur with Raj, he's given you an excellent piece of advice, you don't have any thing to worry about, incase if you're just not able to get over this walk up to any nearest testing center and get a 20 mins rapid test and put it behind, it'll be 100% negative.
