About HIV test.

Hello. 5 months ago i had unprocted sex with man. I dont know his hiv status.  1 month After sex ive had a swollen lymph nodes for about 4 months, i dont have other sympthoms, in generel i feel good. I tested two and four months after exposure  and it came back negative.  [ both tests i did with swollen lymph nodes]. do i need more testing? i feel very sad about my lymph nodes. :(

You are negative. A 3 moth test is conclusive. You don't have hiv.

but my lymph nodes? i have seen many doctors, give a different blood tests - they cant find anything. and this make me crazy !
maybe all in my head? after sex i think just about hiv etc.I cant remove hiv from my head, there is only one think in my mind.  if either ?

Lad, the encounter you described is a non hiv situation. You do not have hiv from this encounter. I believe anxiety is causing many of your problems. Are or have you taken any medication?

You do not have hiv from this encounter. Relax, you are being too paranoid your 4 month test proves that.

no, im just taking anti - stress pills, all this situation about my lymph nodes is stressful.
just for example. ok? if i have a hiv, my lymph nodes are swollen 4 months, and two tests are negative. is there real chance that i have ? i think if my lymph nodes are swollen because i have a hiv , tests will prove that, isnt it? :/

so you ned to believe your 4 month negative test result..

your test was RELIABLE and CONCLUSIVE...PROVING THAT YOU DONT HAVE HIV.

hmm but in situation when i have regular sex with someone who is hiv + , my results after 3 months or 4 months will be positive or still negative?

always use condoms for penetrative vaginal/anal intercourse and that is something you wont have to think about.
