About Oraquick..

Hey deerhound I took four of these tests from 85days to 130days all NEGATIVE, I called the Oraquick they told me that IF I took the test correcly than I’m conclusively negative. However, the guy scared me when he emphasized on IF I took it correctly, I’m sure I did but I still have symptoms and it’s been almost 5months now. I have canker/mouth ulcer/sores, constant headaches, warm feeling and burning tongue and dry lips. I never had this before and I’m not even anxious anymore. Have ever had someone who tested NEG on Oraquick in home and later on tested pos on blood test? thank you

not in China, but the lady came from sub saharan africa and she’s a hooker. We didn’t kiss and I read that the virus is spread through saliva. I’m not concern about it just wanted to have your opinion on it. As far as I’m clear from HIV then I don’t have any reason to worry. What do you think about the home access hiv 1 test I’m thinking about taking one? I don;t have access to an anonymous std clinic where I live. And I don’t want my insurance to be involved, it is the last thing I wanna do. Or are you 100% confident that I’ll test negative on the blood test so I shouldn’t be afraid and test in a clinic here? Thank you

I'm sorry, I missed read your post. Your test at 85 days was conclusive. And, I see you took four of these tests. Please keep in mind, the more you test, the greater your odds are of receiving a false positive. It's obvious you are suffering anxiety from whatever encounter you think you were exposed to HIV. I would think the last thing you really need is to deal with a false positive. Trust your tests, stop testing.

The "IF" is their way to cover themselves for unforeseen circumstances(ie user mistakes). If you followed the directions, then you can trust the test results. However, if you doubt you took the test correctly, you can always go to an HIV/AIDS clinic to submit a test under experienced supervision.
The Oraquick test is considered conclusive at or beyond 12 weeks, so your 5 month test would have detected an infection. When it comes to HIV, symptoms are irrelevant as they mimic hundreds of other conditions.
