Q1 Asking whether HIV-2 has the same window period as HIV-1.
And how about HIV-1 Group O?
We know HIV-2 is far more gentle than HIV-1. People got HIV-2 have longer time to develop to AIDS than that got HIV-1. Because the speed of replication is different.
Q2 P24 antigen may miss HIV-2, right? So the fourth generation can not be used as double insurance of HIV-2?If I need to hve an HIV-2 and HIV-1/Group O antibody test, how long can rule out 90%, how long for 100%.
