If you believe you have been exposed to HIV and want help to judge your risk, would like advice about HIV testing, or have questions about the effectiveness of condoms or risks associated with specific sexual practices, this is the site for you.
something that happens frequently! when you are withdrawing...please hold on to the base of the condom so that it doesnt slip off.
the condom hanging out of her and the fact that your ejaculation was inside the condom, proves that you were protected til the end and that it did indeed come off while withdrawing.
no risk and testing is not warranted :)
oooooops...forgot to tell you that this is not the doctor's forum.
hey LIZZIE LOU,
thx for your reply. so I shouldn't be worried? one more question. would you notice as a man and as a woman when you lose the condom during the intercourse? I heard in that case the condom would be inside the vagina. am I right?
regards
there is a DEFINITE difference in the "feel" when using a condom as opposed to not using one.
think about it LOGICALLY...if the condom HAD come off during intercourse...how do you think that it would have ejaculate INSIDE it? i know your aim is not THAT good :)
haha how do you know that lizzie? :)
yeah, I think you are right. I am about to make up things and worry myself. I read that in some cases the condom stays inside the vagina when losing it. I dont know if that is possible :)
Peter, you're worrying about nothing. You had no exposure. You are not going to get HIV from fingering her; just not going to happen. As far as the condom slippage, it is quite easily explained by the fact that after a man ejaculates the penis softens and loses diameter making the condom likely to slip off. Lizzie is right, if you stay inside the woman after you climax, one of the two of you needs to hold the base of the condom or it will slide off your penis. But you said yourself your semen was in the condom, so you know where your penis was at all times; it was protected and your risk is essentially zero.
a two week HIV antibody test has a 50% chance of being correct BUT it does not matter since you did not have a risk. Consider seeing a mental health professional for HIV anxiety.

i wanna go tomorrow to the clinic and do a test
it would be 8 days after this exposure. would be the result conclusive?
you did not have a risk and you do not need to test.
is this wrong?
