Advice on the avg. 25 day antibodies testing

My exposure was back on September 18th it was unprotected vaginal sex lasted no more than 15 to 20 seconds. My question is I have read on the CDC website that the avgerage detection of antibodies is 25 days. I was wondering if I went to go get tested say the 20th of October which would be 30 days, is there a good chance for the antibodies to show up if I was positive? any advice would be appreciated i've worried myself sick like many I know, and know the actions were stupid. Thank you.

Hi navyvet1,

To answer your specific question.
Yes, testing at 1 month, would detect the marjority of people who were truly infected.

But to have conclusive result, you should have another test at 3 months.

All the best.

Take care.

May God bless
