Afraid got HIV giving oral and ARS

by hha1, Nov 06, 2009 07:27PM
Hi Doctor,

Some others have been very good at answering me on this subject but because you are a doctor I want to ask you.

-Gave a oral to a couple of different guys.
-I like to deepthroat
-Neither of the guys came in my mouth (though im not sure of pre-cum)
-one started to cum an pulled out but im PRETTY SURE all came out cause i saw when he came
-got tested 6 weeks after first exposure HIV negative results
-but only about 3 weeks after second hiv neg.
-caught a rash that my doctor diagnosed as pityriasis rosea
-prior to rash and second bj i had a cold for few days. no fever just stuffy nose then a sore throat
-rash came about 10 days after blowjob.
-I actually still have rash and its on my back-ribs-chest- arms-but- and legs
-Its slowly going away but it itches like crazy!!!! sometimes

so now it is about 10 weeks after 1st bj and 6/12 after 2nd bj

I am super nervous about  whether i am pos. I want to know when i should get tested again and how much risk was i at for giving these guys oral sex

You're negative. If you read through the posts you'll see that everyone on this site believes that hiv through oral sex is no risk. If you take the opinion from the cdc you'll read that they estimate the risk to be 1 in 10,000, but can only suggest that that is a theoretical estimate, because there have never been any tests that can prove hiv is transmitted through oral sex. Thus, you're fine and do not need to be worried.
