After getting ARS How long it will take to come 4 generation HIV test positive
Dear sir if some one have ARS after 12 days and he/she do test from gum NHS clinic 4 generation after 28 day and get negative result what it mean, is he/she need to do test again or he/she is ok and do not have HIV
test if still within the window period after a specific exposure should be discussed. Although fourth generation tests shorten the time from exposure to seroconversion a repeat test at three months is still recommended to definitively exclude HIV infection.
Thanks for your reply, Please tell me is gum clinic do p24 test, I am going again tomorrow for test after 6 weeks, which test I should do , I am too much worried, really appreciate you reply.
No one knows if their symptoms are related to ARS until they are tested and have a confirmed positive result. Then their symptoms can be related to ARS.
If p24 antigen is detected then the test is positive and will be confirmed with a WB just like anyother positive HIV test.Didn't you mean to say p24 can't give a conclusive negative result.
