Am I Safe, No Heavy Fever, No Rash, Nothing...? Just Lymph Pain

by DudeWhatisIt, Jun 25, 2008 01:40PM
Many of you know my exposure, Protected Oral Sex received, but yet a Urinary Infection occurred due to breakage in the condom.

It has been nearly 4 weeks, and I have no fever, no other symptoms, except the lymph pain in the neck.

Am I okay ?

What are my chance of contracting HIV ?

why are you talking to me in such a speach less manner ? Have I done something to you ?

I am concern as much as everyone else is concern on the web site .

Thank you

How indeed did I acquire bacterial infection of the Urinary Tract

You could of had the tract infection before hand and symptoms persisted of it after your encounter. Like the commercial used to say the MIND is a terrible thing to WASTE .
Also a buddy of mine has a problem with condoms when he used them he always got a tract infection dont ask me why or how I am no DR sorry if you feel i was RUDE but hey I have seen you post on other threads to give advice.Dont like my apporach then dont post a question

a urinary tract infection could have come from anywhere...not necessarily from having sex.  if it was indeed protected...my guess would be from somewhere else.

you do understand that if you wore a condom...that you could not have been infected with hiv, dont you?  not sure what your reasoning is...

UTI's are VERY very very very very common.....and you can GET a UTI from about a ba-zillion factors.  IF the sex act was at ALL related to your UTI...it was likely due to bacteria on the INSIDE of your condom....not in any way related to your partner.

If the condom did not fail....you had NO risk for HIV.  ZERO, ZILCH, NADA, NONE.  The two things....the UTI and your HIV anxiety are totally unrelated.

PLEASE seek professional help to move on...as you obviously cannot accept the wonderful uplifting advice people are giving you.  Wish you the best.
