Am I at risk?

I am 32 year old male. I had unprotected sex about 5 years ago one time for about ten min. I then had a monogamous girlfriend for almost two years who say the Gyno regularly. I assume that a woman normally has HIV testing done at each visit? During that time, (about four years ago), I got my hair cut at a stylist that would message my neck. She pointed out that I had a lot of lumps on the back of my neck and refered to them as laktic acid bumps. I took her word for it. I never had a problem with them bothering me. After that relationship I started  new relationship and four months after we started having unprotected sex she tested negative for HIV. I know because I saw the results. She is now my wonderful wife. I recently went thru a very very scary experience where I thought I had cancer. Turns out I don't but it stressed me to the max and made my body do all sorts of weird things that have since gone away. I do still have several lumps on the back of my neck that I now know are lymph nodes after doing research. The have hurt for a couple months now. I did have two colds this year and along with that a couple herpes outbreaks on my lip. All symtoms are gone from being sick after two now weeks and I still have these swollen painful nodes on the back of my neck. I feel pain in cheek and jaw area of other node locations. When I turn my head it feels tight sometime like pulled muscles but i can tell it's the sensitive lymph nodes. I feel great otherwise. No other symtoms. What are the chances this could be HIV. Could I have had unprotected sex with these women and not passed it on rite away or not at all? I also had a roommate about five years ago that had Mono. Could that have been dorment until this stressful period I experienced? I would appreciate any info anyone could give me!! I'm concerned! Thanks very much!

the lumps on the back of your neck are quite normal.  all four of my sons had them when they were younger.

women do not have regular hiv tests done as part of their rountine exams.

if you had unprotected sex...you can test now to know your status and put your mind at ease.  the woman's negative test does not necessarily mean that you are negative too.  hiv is not an easy virus to transmit.

So after the 2-4 week poriod your lymphnodes would go back to normal if they were swollen even when you still have the HIV virus in your body?

ARS symptoms are experienced only in first 2-4 weeks of infection, and never after that.

your symptoms are not related to HIV. If you have not tested till date, go and get tested to get relaxed.
