Am i Hiv infected?

My name is Jerald. I am 27 years old from Australia.

I had 3 encounters when I was in Malaysia for a short holiday trip three weeks ago (today is 4 may 09).

(1) Performed unprotected oral sex with a sex worker only. I licked her vagina but was quite certain I had a little bleeding gum due to brushing teeth in the morning. The encounter happened around 4pm (the session lasted less than 20 minutes).

(2) Performed 2 Protected vaginal intercourses with 2 different sex workers (No oral sex). (each session lasted less than 15 minutes)

I am SOOOooo guilty about the whole thing. i don’t know what went thru my head for what I did when I was in Malaysia. And right NOW i neerrvveee is in a wreck

Prior returning to Australia, i had gastric problem may be due to over eating hot local food and experienced slight sorethoat which went away already. I underwent a HIV test (Elisa) in Malaysia after 8 days of exposure from the first encounter and it came back negative.

I just returned to Australia on 21 April and had a flu injection.

Currently, I have slight fever and sore throat which comes in once in a while, tingling sensation in my fingers and toes area (symptom of HIV?), headache once in a while (it’s not that severe). All this may be due to anxiety attack WHICH i am not sure about. Clearly I am in a mess and can’t think straight. A few days ago, I feeling of nausea and coudlnt sit calmly in the back of the car (anxiety attack or HIV related symptom? I am not sure).


Doctor, please tell me whether i am infected with HIV?

See your doctor if you are concerned about symptoms they have nothing to do with HIV. You were never at risk of contracting HIV.

once in a while i feel nausea like wanting to vomit but not vomiting. like feeling sick kinda thing. and slight throbbing in my head once in a while. do you think it is more related to stress or anxiety attack?

sorry, ive been going on about this for a little too long.

I just need to get it out of my chest.

my hands shake because i am SOOOooooo Freakin SCARED about this.

I am praying hard to god that i am okay.

tingling sensation due to stress/anxiety?

I had headache past few days ago. was it due to too much thinking about "it". now its gone cos ive taken panadol.

any clarification will be great.

Right now my NERVE is such a chaos that my hands starts to shake and able to feel tingling sensation once in a while in my index fingers and the sole of my feet, and feeling nausea. Fever has dissapeared and sore throat is now clearing up.

what's swollen lymph nodes? i just dont get it.

In regards to the first encounter, I did taste her vaginal fluid and i had slight bleeding gum or may be sore gum (May be due to brushing my teeth incorrectly or heatiness that my body experienced). would i able to contract hiv virus?

what if the vaginal fluid made contact with my gums, can i still be infected?

In the situations you've provided you haven't had a risk of contracting HIV.
