Amount of blood needed for HIV rapid test
Anybody knows how much blood is needed for the HIV rapid test (by finger prick)?
I got tested by HIV rapid test but I think the amount of blood used is very little (less than a drop). Is this reliable?
I asked the Pparenthood lady and she said that the result will only show negative or positive (no "invalid" indicator if the test was done incorrectly). Please advise.

thanks

You didn't have a risk of contracting HIV and you didn't need a test. Had you had a risk and needed a test the tech would know how much blood is needed.
