Anal Rape/Intercourse While Blackout Drunk

Preface: I am a straight male college student living in a gated apartment complex (a code is required to enter or exit the building) two blocks from UT's campus, I have never had any type of anal intercourse or homosexual interaction. After a night of heavy drinking six weeks ago I returned to my apartment at 3:38 AM but do not remember whether or not I locked the door, my roommate was gone and I grabbed some food from the kitchen and went to my bedroom. About 20 minutes later I began to get sick and got some vomit on my jeans so I removed my clothes and walked downstairs (my apartment is 2 stories) to the living room and kitchen to get more food. The next thing I remember is waking up on the couch in my living room naked using a vest I had left laying on the couch the night before as a blanket. I was laying in a position that looked as though I had just been sitting on the couch and then laid over to the side and fell asleep/passed out. When I woke up around 9 AM I was still alone and immediately checked myself and did not feel any lube/sperm/sweat on the outside of my anus and did not feel any significant pain down there. As far as the apartment I did not see anything suspicious (signs of unauthorized entry, used condoms or wrappers, the couch I was laying on was not moved out of place and neither was the rug in front of it. My cellphone was still up in my room, my bed looked as though only I had been laying in it from before I threw up, and my clothes were still in the same pile I had left them in before. Upon waking up I immediately returned to my bedroom and went back to sleep without checking to see if the front door was locked. I later asked my roommate when he returned from staying at his girlfriends if the door was locked upon his return later that morning if the door was locked and he said yes. Review of my phone records from that night indicate that I did not contact anyone after returning home and besides I have never associated with any homosexual men anyways. Over the past few weeks I have really started to worry about this night due to my lack of knowledge about what happened, therefore my question to you guys at the forum is: As an individual that has never had any type of homosexual interaction or any type anal intercourse before (not even a finger down there) would I be able to tell the next morning for sure if I had been anally penetrated in a rape or consensual fashion while blackout drunk/passed out? Thank you for your time and I sincerely appreciate any answer you may provide whether it be based on experience or logic alone.

Ahhh...I sort of figured!

You may want to seek some help for that, as it's no way to live, plus it unfairly encourages the stigma against gay/lesbian/bi people.

There are some people that say it is a possibility if you were passed out from drinking. I argued that there would be at least some pain or discomfort when the person wakes up a few hours later or even the next day.

hiv don't discriminate, according to the cdc homosexuals are just slightly over straight man on contagion i think it's something like 44 to 31% yet up to %70 of new cases come from heterosexual man.
this is here say but the cdc can't be that far off.

you do have a very wild imagination though i can't imagine a gay man pouncing on me just to pass out before he brakes every single law just to have at my bones.

breaking and entering, rape and if hiv± voluntary man slaughter.
i wouldn't do that if i was him

1. Is it possible to have been anally raped without any recollection if you were passed out from drinking? Wouldn't there be fragments or flashbacks if the person can remember most of the night's events?

2. If the person does not remember anything, wouldn't they at least feel something wrong when they wake up? Even if the assailant was careful to be gentle, wouldn't the person feel it the next day?

3. What are the symptoms? If there were no sign of any of these symptoms when the person woke up/ the next day, is it still possible that it happened?

Right I agree with you and Teak, and thank you once again for your quick and honest responses. As far as my situation from the post goes would you agree with Teaks assessment after I provided you with the additional information?

There isn't a 6 month test and you never had an exposure. Seek professional mental help for you phobias and biases.

For **** sake people. He is just anxious. Give a guy a pass. He never said he does not like gay people. He stated that he is afraid of HIV and whether or not he has a valid reason for being afraid, kicking someone when they are concerned for their health is lame. All the gays have to come running out of the woodwork to defend themselves. Real men have compassion. Perhaps you are more mental than he is?

Thanks to all of you for your helpful answers, I really appreciate the quick response time and the fact that you were blunt. To clarify for you nurse, I am an extremely homophobic individual, a trait that stems solely from my irrational fear of contracting HIV. The reason I began to worry about this occurrence is due to the fact that it was the first time in a while I had been very intoxicated and my fear lead me to worry that I was either raped or consented to something homosexual just because I woke up naked. At first I dismissed it but then toward the end of the month about 3 and a half weeks after the incident I began to develop what could possibly have been ARS symptoms, after several nights of going to the bar which could have just lowered my immunity enough to catch a cold I woke up experiencing chills on a Thursday that progressed to a 99.1-99.5 fever on Friday that was accompanied by swollen glands in the neck, neck pain, headache, muscle weakness, and extreme congestion with post nasal drip and sinus pressure that caused eye and cheek pain as well as tooth pain. This continued through Sunday with my fever reaching a max of 100.5 for about an hour on Saturday and breaking Sunday. I went to the doctor Monday and was told it was most likely a bacterial sinus infection and given a course of 875 mg amoxicillin twice a day for 10 days, after the first dose I began to feel better and my symptoms gradually faded but my worry about the situation only increased. I know hiv cannot be diagnosed by symptoms only testing at 3 and 6 months which I definitely plan on doing.

Being a male also, i would say that 100% sure you would know if you were anally raped. This is a very sensitive area inside and a penis being stuck up there for the fist time would hurt most people for sure.

Sounds to me like you've got some kind of deeply rooted fear or phobia about homosexuality, some how some way.  Havw you had worries like this before?  You make a point in saying you don't associate with any gay men...which may just mean you don't know any..but it was worded more like you steer clear of them.  Any truth to that?

Even if you had NO recollection of the activities of the night before (which you do, you remember an awful lot, actually)...you would know (the next day) if you were entered anally if you have never been penetrated anally before.

This is paranoia and irrational.  Put it out of your head.  Also, sounds like you need to ease up on the alcohol a bit....to get THAT drunk is dangerous in other ways, and is simply not healthy, nor is it attractive in any way, to be passed out, naked, vomiting.  Yeah, that's not too much fun.  It's NEVER smart to get SO intoxicated where you're barely in control of your own self...and when you add black outs to the mix, well, that's not good.
