Antiretroviral medication inhibition

I am confused with an article I read about the inhibition of the antiretroviral medications when in PPI (proton pump inhibitor) medication. I was diagnosed with an hiatal hernia a long time ago, since then, I being taking Lanzoprazole (PPI medication) to treat my condition. Three month ago I started Truvada as PrEP (pre exposure prophylaxis).
My concern is, How effective is Truvada to preventing me to acquire an HIV infection?. As I said I had read several article but none of them mention Truvada (articles were from 2012 or older). Is this is true for all antiretroviral medications? Does anybody has recent information regarding this matter? I prefer to ask here because I know people here are more updated with new information on HUV and treatments than many doctors..
Thank you any information will be very helpful.

Truvada is 100% effective as PrEP, or nearly so, as long as it is taken properly and there are good amounts of drug in the system at the time of exposure. Truvada is the main medicine that has been studied and recommended for PrEP. It is a combination of two drugs, tenofovir and emtricitabine.  Maybe some things you read used these names, so you didn't see the Truvada brand name.

I don't know if taking PPI drugs interferes with effectiveness against PrEP. Probably not, but you should check with the doctor or clinic who prescribed it for you.

CDC has great information about PrEP; here is a link to some of it:
