Anxious

Hi, I was just wondering if it is possible to seroconvert at 11 and have ars symptoms for the 11 weeks prior to seroconversion? I tested negative at 11 weeks and 3 days after exposure. If I seroconverted at 11 weeks would 3 days after be enough time to have detectable antibodies? Its been 12 weeks and 1 day now, I am waiting for 13 weeks to re-test again with a rapid test. I've had every possible symptom of ars and seroconversion, swollen lymph nodes, night sweats, constant head aches, muscle aches, skin lesions, skin rashes, fatigue, diarrhea, nausea, fever etc.. I am finally recovering after 3 months of torture.. But I still have swollen lymph nodes.. What are my chances of testing negative at 13 weeks? My exposure was from a needle stick I think? I am not sure because I was very very intoxicated but the next morning I was super sick (hungover) my arm hurt, (no track marks though :s) and it was itchy. I am so very nervous because I have a really bad feeling about that night.. Thanks to whoever responds

You can seroconvert up to 3 months, reason that a conclusive negative test result can't be obtained till 3 months post exposure.

thanks for your response, so would it be unusual to seroconvert at 11 weeks? I cant tell if it was seroconversion illness or the actual flu ..

If one has ARS symptoms, they come on 2-4 weeks post exposure and last 1-2 weeks.

And I was also wondering would it take longer for a first time IV drug user to seroconvert? I was very healthy before this incident, I have no diseases or cancers, i actually never drank for a year and a half nor did I do drugs.. It is unlike me to do IV drugs but I just can't shake the feeling that it happened especially after having all those symptoms for that long
