My WBC is 5.7

Isn't that too low ?

No it isn't low. It's within the normal range.

At the time of primary infection...does the wbc count go up? indicating an infection?

CBC can not be accurately interpreted for HIV infection. If you think, you were exposed to any kind of risk (high or moderate), go get yourself tested for HIV antibody straight away after completion of your window period.  

Do you know, what does a peacock do when find itself in danger? And does that approach protect him?

Yes , I ve also heard and read , it may go up or down, my WBC also was down like 3.5 to 4 during 14 days after my exposure, thats why i did HIV test and so on . . .
