Any risk

Last week I was helping with a party in the ER, this party had open wounds on his arms/shoulders that appeared to be fresh, I did not see any blood.  During my asstitance I had to hold the person down for a few minutes.  I had gloves on and did not see if any blood was in the area.  When I went home I noticed a cut on my forearm, the cut appeared to be a day or so old.  My concern is this person kept screaming dont get my blood in you. Is this a risk of hiv?
