At the lab

At the lab

Hello.  I just have a quick question.   I was getting my blood withdrawn today for a CBC and cholesterol etc.   I asked the lab nurse to make sure that everything is new and disposable.  She said yes and the old injections are thrown in a special box that she touched in front of me. After she took my blood I went and looked at the side of the trash she touched and there were blood stains (when they throw the used syrnges some of the blood drips on the side)  so for sure she touched the blood and touched me.   Not sure how old is the blood.   Is there any risk please advice and it's my last question.

Thank you for your response.   I am not sure if her glove touched the needle head after touching the blood.  But if she did touch the blood and then touched the needle head, would I still have no risk? This is my final question.
