BROKEN CONDOM

Dear Friend

I am male who is currently living in Zimbabwe.On Saturday i had a terrible experience.
Went out for casual vaginal sex.I did put my condom well and during intercourse i would check if it was intact.
After i finished having intercourse i went on to check the status of the condom and i found out it was broken and the hole was big enough for a small finger to pass though it.
Later i asked the lady for her status and she said last test she was negative of which it was in January but i doubt her.
I usually get tested once a year and this year definately i will go for the test.My main worry is what are my chances of getting infected with HIV and also what should i do for condoms not to continue breaking as this is my third time doing so.

i thought condoms don't get holes, but when they break they break catastrophycly?

Am going for a test as per my tradition but my concern is the risk which i faced.What are my chances.Also the condom did not break catastrophically i checked it and it only had a hole and guys what are my chances as i am dying of anxiety

Condoms break is catastrophic,,,, i have had one and i know how it looks....

I also know how it looks like when it breaks i know u are left with a ring at the base of your penis.With this one i checked it during intercourse it was ok.And i did not hear any breaking.What i thot might have happened is it broke when i did ejaculate bt honestly it did had a small hole afterwards and i can confirm i did see it.

I used the local brands PROTECTOR PLUS and i got the lady from a bar i asked her here status and she said she was negative.I am not panicking as yet but anxiety is killing me slowly

was the condom latex ?

The hole appeared at sideways bt not at the tip.
Also when i was withdrawing from her some semen were left outside her v*gina and thighs.I dont think i did ejaculate in her.Bt i know for certain the condom did not rupture the normal way.Thenx for at least understanding such a scenario bcoz most of the guyz are thinking probably its impossible for this to happen.

I am not taking any chances and i am dfntly going to take a test.

Out  of interest what the possibilities which would happen when a condom breaks.And probably hw does it begin the breaking process .Bcoz i am still really certain that a hole large enough for finger to penetrate was on my condom.
