. I am wondering if it is possible for the virus in the bath waterf rom his ejacualte to infect me as we sat in the tub for about 20 mins. Does this warrant testing.
I dont know if water makes the virus unable (probably it does) but his semen needed to be in contact with your mucus membranes(inside your vagina or anus) and semen doesnt walk, netheir jump, netheir swim, so it wasnt a risk.
Either take what has been said here by knowledgeable, or start reading standard text on transmission and prevention, you need to improve your basic understanding.
Okay, thanks. I had a few sores on the outside of my vagina and this is what I am worried about as they were not completely healed. Not getting inside me. Sorry for the confusion
Dolly I`m not a women, but water cannot get into your vagina when bathing, and by the way it wont be risk for a man netheir. like Lizie said hiv is trasmited thru
Having unprotected vaginal, anal or Oral Sex
Sharing intarvenous o hole bore needles
Vertical Trasnmission (Mother to child)
HIV IS NOT TRASMITED by shakin hands, using toilet, bathing in the same hot tub or pool, non penetrative sex, eating at Mcdonalds, playing sports, ect.
Okay, I am going to quit beating around the bushes, I was just trying to see if I could have infected my wife. She just dellivered a baby and has some trauma in her vaginal area. I masterbatd in the tub and drained teh water. She had a bath about 30mins later and I am worried there could have been traces of semen in the tub still that could have gotten into her vaginal area. I had a needlestick and have tested negative at just over 8 weeks but have to test out ot six months for some reason. OSHA.
Sorry Teak for beating around thebushes, this is the honest truth. Do you feel this is a risk to my wife? Is this why you think I should chat with the clinic? I am not going back there for four weeks for my three month test so I wont be able to chat to them until then.
Again sorry for not getting right to the point but I was a little embarassed to ask. Thanks for you help and I would apreciate your response and I am on my way
no wonder you didnt know about getting water into the vagina...geeeeeeeeeeeez. why would you be embarrassed to ask a question? we dont have a clue who you are.
Thank Lizzie, I guess I have a bit to learn from teh femal anatomy :). So no risk to her then is the answer I guess. Just want to make sure as she is breast feeding. Thanks for the feedback and understanding.
