Bleeding gums

by traveltobeyond, Dec 18, 2008 04:48AM

Hi everyone,
I suffer from bad gum disease, so bad that sometimes bloods seeps through where my front teeth are for no apparent reason. I have always suffered with bad teeth and gums but my gums seem to be  getting a lot worse now. I recently ate some food which had some blood on it, I am sure it wasn't my mind playing tricks and it definately wasn't my own blood. I saw my gums were bleeding 5 minutes later in the mirror. Please let me know if possible to obtain Hiv this way.

Sounds like a visit to the dentist should be more of a concern. It's not normal.

Thanks for both your answers. Yes agreed I need another visit to a dentist. Can you explain the reasons why it can not be transferd this way. Thanks
