Blood in food

Blood in food

I was at work last week and a cook cut his finger. We were opening the store. I was starving. He showed me his finger. I looked hard at the food and didn't see anything. Before I ate, I left the food under the heating lamp for about 5 minutes. I read that if blood enters you're system, your stomach acid kills any HIV. But what about chewing the food and letting it roll around in your mouth for a few minutes while talking.

I need percentages please. I'm a hypochondriac to begin with. And also I would like to know how to not think about such a thing for the next 12 weeks when I will get tested. I hate worrying.

Don't worry,,, Mouth is not included in the selected entry points by HIV :-). It is never transmitted  the way you described. You do not need any test.

No ! Not even if you have abrasion, sores, etc. The virus in the blood has been sufficiently exposed to ambient oxygen and heat. It rermains not more alive.

So it dies out once it's in the air. Even under all the food and heat lamps.

Moreover, if I did get blood in my body the fact he doesn't have anything, I wouldn't get contaminated?

Thanks
