Blood on blood handshake

I had cut my hand to the point it was bleeding bad well about 15 mins later I got to work and my manager (who is gay) shook my hand forgetting about the cut and blood but I noticed he also had a fresh cut. What are my risk chances from the cuts touching? I've since used some rubbing alcohol to clean the cut and bandage it and the cut seems to still be bleeding a little.

Its found in all the communities. In gays, because they practice anal sex as for them intercourse is via anus. No issues, how ever you were never at a risk and are safe.

Hi,

Firstly, stop assuming only Gay guys get affected more with HIV. If you involve in anal sex with an infected partner, you would get it too. HIV doesn't infect people basis on their orientation.

Secondly, HIV doesn't transmit the way you describing your situation. Hence, you are safe.

If I would have been in your place, I would have immediately rushed to get first aid for my manager irrespective him being gay or straight.
