Blood on skin transmission?

I was getting my nails done and I noticed the woman had a small
Bleeding cut on her finger. I then noticed a small
Smear of it on my skin. I didn't have any open cuts, wounds etc but by the time she was finished I noticed a small cut under my nail from the file. I didn't notice any of her blood other than that smear and her finger was dry by the time she was done. Is there any chance I can contract HIV or hepatitis or anything if she was positive? Needless to say I'm disgusted and will report them and never go
Again. Please help!

Like I said even if it was blood which you say it was because you would know as you were there and we weren't it makes no difference,I once helped a person in a motor vehicle accident and got HIV+ blood all over me and I am HIV negative to this day.Hiv becomes inactive once exposed to air and therefore is unable to infect you, also it requires a point of entry into the blood stream, this is why all transmissions occur inside the body not outside it.All the best.

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

Even if it was blood you still had no risk.

that "smear" was probably fingernail polish.  no one that does nails, for a living, is going to sit around bleeding while working on customers.
