Thanks for that and also for a quick reply as it would not have been nice waiting- I was more worried about the finger in my eye and rubbing my eye with my hand really although I do have a cut on my hand which he touched and applied pressure to as I said above.

for educational purposes, why didnt he have a risk when he rubbed his eyes? blood on mucus membrane only exposed to air for a few seconds. an explanation would be much appreciated?
