Breast Milk

by edk792, Oct 16, 2008 07:28PM
Hello,

There was a poster who asked a similar question about this topic, but I have something else to add (see http://www.medhelp.org/posts/show/616653).

I too was getting a lapdance in a strip club, and the stripper squeezed her breast and a single drop of breast milk came out.  I then put her nipple my mouth; however, I had a canker sore at the time.  I read the response found within the link above, but how does the risk of possible HIV infection change with a canker sore.  I know that Dr. Hook stated that, statistically, most exotic dancers are not HIV infected.  Assuming she was, however, how does my risk for possible HIV infection change with a canker sore?

Also, if I wanted to test for HIV infection, when would be a good time to test and what type of test should I get?  Thank you.

Adults cannot contract HIV from breast milk. Infants and very young children that don't have a mature immune system are at risk. You don't need to test.

I am reading literature that says anyone, adults included, can potentially contract HIV from breast milk from an infected person, however.  Are you sure about this?

There is no damn adult sucking 6 oz. of  breast milk 5 times a day out of any woman. Besides that saliva inhibits HIV. So yes I'm sure.
