Brief Exposure

About 3 weeks ago I had a brief exposure with a massage provider in Phoenix. I penetrated her without a condom basically one thrust before I realized my penis went inside her. I immediately pulled out of her and I placed a condom on and we continued to have sex. At approx. 13 days after exposure I had a brief throat issue, I wouldn't call it a sore throat but it hurt for about 2-3 days and went away. I also developed a low fever at 99, I usually run about 97.6ish. On the 15-24th day I developed and stuff nose and painful to the touch swollen lymph nodes below my jaw. I believe my stuffy nose turned to a sinus infection because after taking antibiotic the nose and swollen lymph nodes when away. My main concern is that rash that developed on day 17 and it started on my inner thigh ( I thought it was from my workout shorts) and then was apparent in my armpits. It then after about day 24 spread on my chest and stomach with few on my legs. I did have a legitimate massage during day 15 where the masseuse used alot of oil on my chest but all this put together is making me very concerned.

presence of symptoms or their absence have nothing to do with HIV, they just cause worry. With respect to risk, once you penetrated without protection then you had risk and the only way to know is to test. Try the 4th generation tests so you would have better answers to your worry in a shorter time. I hope it will be negative and my advice to you is to keep your valuable life safe by avoiding such fatal mistakes.

Worriebit. thank you also for your response. As I was saying above, I'm terrified about this and what a stupid mistake I made. I value my life and family but that's absolutely not how I was acting. Thanks again.
You can get a rash from many things. Shingles is a serious disease that needs quick treatment, so if you think it is a problem see doc immediately. You can get a rash from dry skin etc. so it might be nothing.

No sense in you or anyone on this forum trying to guess what you have since you have no diagnostic facts. Odds are very high that you have nothing and are just worrying yourself into an incorrect self-diagnosis.
Most of the "symptoms" you list are irrelevant to anything, yet you are hanging onto all of them which act as baggage which keeps your fears fueled at peak levels. Time to end the unhappy self-diagnosis phase and see doc about your rash if it really exists.

HIV is not diagnosed on symptoms. Only a test will help.
Even though you act was brief, you still had unprotected vaginal sex which is a risk of HIV. Was the risk high? Not necessarily as the prevalence of HIV in the US is low and chances of contracting HIV from one heterosexual vaginal encounter is around 1/1250.
Should you get test at 28 days for HIV with a duo test? Absolutely! Should you get tested for other STIs? Absolutely! Should you overly worry about HIV? I don't think so...

Thank you for the answer. I'm just stressing out to the point of obsession. I understand that testing is the only sure way of knowing but it terrifies me because of the possible out come. The rash is stressing me out. Mostly because I can't identify where else it would have come from and it's the only thing lingering at this point.
