Briefly gave unprotected oral; worried about HIV

A little over two weeks ago, I had my first ever sexual experience with a guy.  We gave each other unprotected oral for a while--I probably swallowed some precum, though I'm not certain--and then finished by jerking each other off.  He claimed he'd only been with woman prior to this, just like me, but I haven't been able to contact him again and that sets off alarm bells.

A few days ago, I developed a mild sore throat, a low grade fever, and some nasal/sinus/ear congestion.  Obviously, I fear this might be ARS.  I plan to get the duo test done at the 21 day mark later this week, but I am VERY anxious about my risks.  So many sources say that precum can be infectious that I'm now terrified that I made a potentially fatal mistake going as far as I did.

I welcome opinions, real experiences, and any other feedback.

These are not opinions but are facts.

No incident HIV infections among MSM who practice exclusively oral sex.

There is no debate (among experts) about the HIV risks associated with oral sex. The risk is so low that almost nobody who cares for HIV infected patients has ever had a patient believed to have been infected that way. Among experts, it's a semantic issue about using terms like "no risk" and "very low risk". There is no difference between my or Dr. Hook's use of "low risk" and other experts' "no risk".
DR. HANSFIELD

"And oral sex is basically safe sex -- completely safe with respect to HIV and although not zero risk for other STDs, the chance of infection is far lower than for unprotected vaginal or anal sex. Please educate yourself about the real risks. If you stick with oral sex and condom-protected vaginal or anal sex, you have no HIV worries and very little worry about other STDs. " DR HANSFIELD

"I am sure you can find lots of people who believe that HIV is transmitted by oral sex, but you will not find scientific data to support this unrealistic concern..." DR HOOK

"HIV is not spread by touching, masturbation, oral sex or condom protected sex."- DR. HOOK

in the public HIV Prevention forum of MedHelp, TEAK and the other moderators maintain that oral sex in all forms is a zero risk activity. Would you agree with this assessment?
I TOTALLY AGREE / DR GARCIA

"HIV is not spread by masturbation, through oral sex, through kissing or other casual contact." Dr.Hook

"The observation on thousands and thousands of observations is that HIV is not spread by oral sex (of any sort)." DR HOOK

I certainly hope this is true!  However, for my own peace of mind, I'm still going to test, and I'll post results when I get them.  On the ARS topic, are my symptoms consistent with it or not?

Bumping this because I have to wait until Friday for 21 days to pass and I'm still worried about the ARS-like symptoms I'm experiencing.

You had no HIV risk so you don't need to test because the result will come out negative anyway unless you do any of unprotected vaginal/anal sex and/or sharing IV drug works. Your symptoms have nothing to do with HIV, you would better suggest a doctor if they continue.

"...unless you do any of unprotected vaginal/anal sex and/or sharing IV drug works".  Nope, none of those things.  The recent experience with a guy I described in the first post is the only unsafe sex I've had in many years, and I've never done drugs.
