COLD VERSUS FLU

Any comments on Dr. H last comments?  I have come down with a bad bolt of bronchitis (5 days now). After much readaing I learnt that congestion, cough, sneezing....are not factors of ARS. I never considered a difference between cold and flu...I know I was low risk. I think a majority of us are. I was a low risk case and still after all the data, reading similar cases, I play in my head wow...I have bronchitis am I positive? And ofcourse the guilt and anxiety of it all. Anyways, I have also concluded that for some of us, no data or doctor saying anything will help but only a negative test....You all have a good day. TGIF...suppossed to snow here@!

Intestinal flu is a synonym for a lot of viral infections dealing with the stomach or gut. You cannot rely on symptoms to diagnose HIV. You need to be tested to find out your results. If you had a risk, that is indeed a reason to test.

I don't have intesinal flu. Just bronchitis.  As you said before I was at low risk to begin with. I had unprotected oral and protected sex with a sex worker seven weeks ago.  I just wanted to know from Dr. H whether bronchitis or a bad cold was a part of intial infection of HIV. I have had no fever, no rashes, ....

No, you were at no risk receiving a blowjob. So whatever is going on with you is unrelated to HIV.
