In my case I tested positive with ELISA and automatically they send the test to Wb to confirm. If you get POSITIVE elisa they will confirm it with Wb, and yes, there is  false positive, and you can search and find there are many factors that effect ELISA test.
I also did PCR DNA and Quick test to confirm. These guys here know a lot and they help me a lot to go through it, I really appreciate it.
About false negative, I really don't know.
You can do PCR DNA after 28 days (Not FDA approved), this test looks for the virus itself, then you can do antibodies after 6 weeks and 12 weeks.

a false negative will only occur if you test within the window period, before 3 months, what was your risk?

im just asking , if elisa can make a mistake in false positive , then can it make a mistake

please stop posting this nonsense, the fact that you took information on youtube regarding hiv should tell you something, get educated on HIV.  A wb test would a confirmation test if you had a posotive elisa test.  If you WB test was negative then you would not have HIV, you really need to get a grip

a western blot is done to confirm a positive result.  you do not need to do a wb for a negative test result.
