test 9 months since my first time exposure with someone I didn't know. Her boyfriend she later found out was bisexual. She told me she was negative so no condoms
were used. Am I in the clear with my negative eliisa at 9 months post exposure?? If I do a pcr test will the test show up positive with a high viral load?? Or will it confirm the accuracy of my 5 negative elisa
As long as your Elisa test was performed at least 3 mths after your LAST exposure, then its correct. You would not have a viral load at all if your antibody test is negative, it means you don't have the virus!
Am I in the clear with my negative eliisa at 9 months post exposure?? YES
If I do a pcr test will the test show up positive with a high viral load?? NO, This would be a waste of your time and money. PCR is not an approved test for early detection anyway.
What should I expect?? A Big Bill For The Tests.
You have conclusive results and no further testing is needed, Any testing here forward would be a waste.
