Can HIV results be altered by other STDs?

Hi,
I was recently tested HIV negative at 8 weeks after my last exposure.
The nurse used the oral swab rapid HIV test.

However, I was also tested for syphilis using two tests (RPR and FTA-ABS).
The RPR came back negative, but the FTA-ABS results were equivocal (minimally reactive).
So I need to do another syphilis test to make sure that I don't have it (or have it...).

My question is:
IF I am syphilis positive, would that change the validity of the HIV negative result at 8 weeks?
I am really worried this as online, websites have been saying a high co-infection of HIV and syphilis, and that people who test positive for one will oftentimes test positive for the other.
I am really worried sick about HIV, but should I be with the HIV negative result that I got?

Thank you so much.

There are no tests that can give you a conclusive negative test result earlier than 3 months. So the answer is no.

Thank you, Teak.

For oral swab rapid HIV tests, 8 weeks is considered conclusive right?
Or should I do one at 12 weeks just to be safe?
