there is NO ONE more knowledgable, on this forum, than teak.
Yes I did actually, I wanted to hear from
Someone else as to why that is not possible.
did you read what teak said? apparently not...do it !
Can HIV be transmitted this way? I have the same concern because I used a test from the same company and got the dilutent in my mouth by accident. I'm worried the "company" tainted with the test kit and somehow that liquid infected me. I didn't have any symptoms until that happened. Is that a possibility for the virus to live in a liquid solution?
There is no virus in an HIV tests so there is nothing to become inactive.
No, HIV is HIV, it becomes inactive upon contact with the environment.

Thank you for your answer. It makes me feel better. But do you think the 'antigen' in the test device could still be alive and effective even in the open air after several hours due to the medical treatment or something?
The answer was to the point and doesn't have to be explained. No means no.
Teak, thanks for the quick and clear answer, but I am in a very devastated state of mind and a more elaborated explanation could help me. If you could, could you explain why you think the answer is no?
And thanks for your answer anyways.
Hi, welcome the forum. The first thing to say is that you didnt need to test in the first place. Protected sex is safe sex.
Secondly, you are at no risk from this 'exposure'. As you rightly say HIV becomes inactive on exposure to the atmosphere. In addition the only way for HIV to be transmitted is from inside the body, i,e. penetrative sex or IV drug use. It would not have gone through your fingers.
