If you believe you have been exposed to HIV and want help to judge your risk, would like advice about HIV testing, or have questions about the effectiveness of condoms or risks associated with specific sexual practices, this is the site for you.
Anyhow, I have definitely been overtested, as Joey could attest. Antibodies at 4, 6, 10 and 16 weeks, and a PCR DNA at ~35 days -- all negative. Hep C test and full panels were also done, all negative.
Partner also (supposedly) tested and was negative, full panel test at Planned Parenthood.
Anyhow, can I truly move past this now? I know the evidence says yes, but some symptoms still remain. I was JUST diagnosed with oral yeast infection, liver enzymes are still high (due to diet, probably) and neck lymph node feels swollen, but doc said it was normal size. Says my nodes in my neck were palpable, but its expected with all the allergens in the air. I still feel like ****, though (could be oral yeast?).
I'm just wondering why I still feel bad (lethargic, some hot flashes, no fever, watery eyes), is it due to the yeast infection (leukoplakia?). Can I be confident I am HIV negative? Thanks guys.
