Can I stop worrying

by scooterd, Sep 12, 2007 03:47PM
I just received a negative test result and I'm very relived and happy. I had the Oqaquick rapid test at day 51. Can I move on or do I need to continue to live in an anxious stae for another several weeks and test again.

What was your risk?
But in any case a negative test at 7 weeks proves you are negative.

Well, I'm embarresed to say that I'm a very anxious person when it comes to my health. I went to a massage parlor and got a hand job and she used her finger to enhance the experience ( rectum). Second a friend of mine is HIV positive and when he cut my hair i had a tiny cut and he wiped it away with his hand. I feel terrible but I thought what if he had a cut on his finger.

The counselor told me to move on with my life and I did not engage in " high risk" but I want to be sure

Fingering and hand job carry no risk for HIV.  Your hair cutting experience is also no risk.  If HIV were spread that easily millions more people would be infected than actually are
