Can a negative HIV antibody test at 6 weeks become positive at 12 weeks?

I developed oral thrush at 6 weeks after sex so I had an antibody HIV test which came back negative.
Since then, my oral thrush wont go away still after taking all sorts of antibiotics and drugs for the least couple of weeks,  which has me worried again about HIV.

So I guess what i wanna know is, how often do negative result 6 week antibody tests turn into positive ones a 3 months? I wouldn't worry if it wasn't for the thrush... but the fact I cant get rid of it has me worried, there is no obvious reason I should have thrush in the first place

No, it is extremely unlikely to occur. In fact, none of the experts observed anyone reported 6 weeks negative and turning otherwise in the subsequent six weeks.

A negative 6 weeks test is conclusive if done on 4th generation Duo (antibody+antigen) test kit and highly reassuring if a test kit of previous generation is used
