Can antivirals like Ribavirin make delay the production of HIV antibody?

Dear Dr.
Last year,  i was in China. there i had sex with
a girl whose HIV status is unknown. we had protected
vaginal sex. But unfortunately the conddom broked.
then i stopped sex & went to washroom. i washed my penis with hot wate
then i came back & started sex wearing a new condom.
25/30 days later of that incident i started to feel weak & got cold with
fever,  muscle pain, joint pain,  diarrohea & sore throat.
then i went to a doctor. He prescribed me antibiotics
along with antiviral (ribavirin). I've completed the full course of those medicine
I was tested for HIV & 2,3 & 6 month. All results were negative.
My question is 1. Is that result conclusive?
2. should i go for another test at 12 months?
3. Do ribavirin delay the production of HIV antibody?  if yes then how long it'll take?

Your test results at 6 months are conclusive. You do not have HIV.

You can test again at 12 months but understand it would be for YOUR peace of mind only. Your results are NOT going to change.

It has been said many times on this forum, there is no medical condition and no medication that delays HIV antibody or otherwise alters HIV test results. That includes ribavirin. (Potent chemotherapy drugs may do it, but even that is theoretical without any actual known instances of it actually happening.)

I wish you the best

Thank You very much Dr.
I'll go for another another test tomorrow. it's 13 months now from the incident.I'll go for another test because,  I'm having joint pain,  muscle pan, rash & numbness in hand & feet along with muscle twitching.

If you want another test for peace of mind, there is nothing wrong with that. But when this one comes back negative, I hope you finally accept the results and move on with your life.

Your physical symptoms have nothing to do with HIV. I recommend you see your doctor for a correct diagnosis. Don't be surprised if they say it's anxiety.

Take care
