Canker Sores with Oral Sex

Hi Dr,

I'm a gay male and I recently engaged in unprotected oral sex in which I was the receptive partner. The other person's HIV status is unknown. At the time I had a 2 small canker sores on my gums. I'm not exactly sure but I think they were on their way to healing, however, they were still very much there.  I did not perform oral on my friend for very long (about 20 sec.) & there was no ejaculate but there is still the possibility of precum.  From what I've read even with a open cut, there is a risk of HIV transmission. My question is would you consider this to be an event worthy of getting tested? Or would you consider this a relatively low risk activity which I shouldn't worry too much about.
