Chances of getting HIV

Dear Dr,

3 days ago I had protected sex on a beach with a male whom i had met a month or so earlier, we used condoms and changed condoms 4 times (just to be safe) but after he pulled out of me on the third condom, we stood up and both noticed the condom was on the floor. I'm not sure if it fell off when he pulled out or during sex. Obviously on the chance it was during i'm concerned about the  likely hood of contracting HIV or a STD. I phoned him and asked him if he had HIV or an STD and he said he definately didn't and that he is 100% sure he doesn't have either of them but I am still concerned. I am going to see my doctor next week and get all neccessary tests done.

What are the chances of contracting HIV based on the above?

Your feedback would be greatly appreciated

I wouldn't say zero, but highly unlikely.  Was there any semen inside you or was it in the condom?

Condoms do fall off easily with a big load in them once a guys goes soft, especially the lubricated ones.  So it probably fell off.  They don't really fall off easily by themselves when a guy is hard, unless he took it off on purpose (which is possible) or didn't have it on right.

The chances are zero.  FYI, 10 days is too early to take an HIV test, not that you need one.

Did the condom have semen in it or was it inside you?  That would be one way to know.

I hope it came off on withdraw, when we noticed it had came off we were standing and the condom was stretched out on the floor beside us. Wouldn't he have noticed if the condom came off?
I've never had sex without a condom before so I don't know how different it is ment to feel, but I didn;t feel the condom come off during or notice anything different.
How can you distinguish if a condom is on or off?

The result is negative because it will take a certain time to know whether you are negative or positive. 3 days is not long for a test.
When you have sex, didn't you feel the condom?
If you use condom, no reasons to be worried. Good luck
