Chances of hiv

hi docter,three months back i had unprotected sex with a girl,the next day one small swallen gland came on my left groin area.This is the only symptom observed.how are the chances of getting hiv.please help me out.Thanks in advance.

Thx to all.Is there any other reason(other then hiv) for getting swallen glands or (nodes) after having unprotected sex.plz help me.thank u.

one swollen gland the day after sex is NOT indicative of infection.

if someone experiences symptoms of ars...it comes at 2-4 WEEKS post infection and lasts for 1-2 WEEKS.

swollen lymph nodes from ars are generalized...not localized.

with that being said...the ONLY way to know one's status is by testing.

The chances you caught hiv from one encounter is slim. That being said it is still a possibility. Who is this girl? Is she a pro? a friend ? A unknown one night stand?. Please elaborate.

usually how many glands will,when we consider it as hiv symptom.

you need to get tested..test now and the result will be conclusive..take a hiv antibody test

The swollen gland is unlikely to be related to HIV since symptoms don't show as fast. Still if you had unprotected sex there could be a risk. Any judging the risk would depend on what type of sex you had, not symptoms.
