Clarification regarding my risk for HIV exposure

Clarification regarding my risk for HIV exposure

Hi,
I have been lately visiting a Massage Parlour. I'm attracted to a lady working there. I had sex with her for atleast 3-4 times now. Everytime I use a Condom While having sex with her. The problem is that she became fond of me and everytime i go there she kisses me passionately and even i resist she will not stop kissing me. I know kissing will not cause HIV, but i have asked her her HIV status, and she said she is fine. She might be kissing all her customers to please them. Does participating In sex with her by using a condom and Fingering her vagina and kissing passionately at the same time poses me with HIV risk. After my 3 encounters with her, I have tested for HIV antibody tests and the results were negative. I recently had one more encounter with her, but now i really fear that she might be exposed to HIV as she said to me that she also participates in sex with other customers at times. I'm kinda afraid of this fact. The only thing in my favour is that i use condoms everytime i have sex with her. Please help me understand the risks i'm exposed to for having sex with her. Do i need to retest after my recent encounter with her?? Is it always safe if we have condom? Please help me out to lessen my fears about HIV. I've have promised myself never to go back to her. But i may commit the same mistake again at some other place. I hope you understand my situation and will help me out. Thanks for you help...

Welcome to our Forum.  You are not at risk for HIV from the activities you describe.  You have done precisely the right thing by asking her about her HIV status and it is likely that she was telling the truth when she told you she did not have HIV- most people do tell the truth.  Even if she did not tell the truth or had caught HIV since her last visit however, there is still not risk for HIV.  HIV is not transmitted by kissing, by masturbation (finger) or in the context of condom protected sex as long as the condom remains intact.  Also, your condom did not fail.  When condoms fail, they break wide open, they do not just "leak" a "little".

These activities were safe.  You do not need HIV testing because of them.  I hope this comment is helpful to you.  EWH

Thanks! I believe your expert answers, as you have been working on it since long time. I'm not going to get tested again because it is a long wait to get tested (3 months) for the results to be conclusive as per my knowledge. In case even if i think to go for test, do u think it would be a good idea to go after 5-6 weeks for HIV antibody test for the results to be Perfectly Conclusive??
Yes, however my condom never failed and i used protection every time. Thanks for the clarification. It helps a lot.

As you point out, I see no need for further testing.  If you feel you must test for your own peace of mind, my advice would be to be tested at 8 weeks rather than 6.  At 6 weeks over 95% of tests woul be positve if you had caught HIV but at 8 weeks virtually all would be positve. Thus the 8 week test is more reliable (not that you need it).  EWH

Yes absolutely. Recently i got tested after 12 weeks of my exposure. The tests were Negative. The place where i went for testing, they draw the blood and perform the Tests on it. I asked them whether they do ELISA testing. They were not sure of the kind of tests they do, but said the lab generally knows it. Did they do HIV Antibody test?  I have gathered some Information where it was stated that, these tests generally show negative and most people do not go for further testing assuming they are safe. I know my question may be repetitive, but this would indeed help me figure out which TEST is appropriate. I don't find any one in my near by area who offer HIV DUO (p24 antigen/ antibody) Tests. So i have to depend on this HIV antibody test. After my test results were negative i had another exposure with the same lady. I'm sure My use of condoms is safe. I just wanted to know which tests will be more conclusive. Can i believe these HIV antibody tests? This will be my last Post here!
Thanks for you replies really appreciate it.

Your question is repetitive.  Believe your antibody tests. They show you did not get HIV from your no risk exposure.  EWH
