Conclusive

Hi

I've tested negative on a determine ab/ag rapid test at 16 weeks post exposure. My last test was at 11.5 weeks and I wanted to be sure. Am I now done testing?

Yes.You are 110% Hiv negative.You were conclusive at 11.5 weeks.You don,t need to test again.Congratulations and all the best.

I guess so : ) Thank you to you both for your support whilst i've been active on the forum. My apologies for asking the above question. My only concern lies with the advice of SOME people to test at 6 months. Why do people still recommend this? I'm going to take the advice of the UK health service & med help and stop testing. The NHS state 12 weeks is conclusive.

12 weeks is conclusive, 6 Months is for people who want to live in the past and not except the current Hiv window period.
