Ok that encounter was different from this one...The last encounter the condom broke and I did not realize it until I was finished. This time when the condom broke only the tip of his penis was on my anus and as soon as it broke he pulled the tip out.
I thought that transmission required penetration.
There was no penetration so with that being said am I at risk?
"...I just had anal sex with a guys and as he slide the tip of his penis in my anus the condom broke and he IMMEDIATELTY pulled out..." If you didn't have penetration you didn't have a risk. Any reason you've changed your story?
In no way shape or form am I trying to contradict myself because I want to be assest correctly. What exactly happen was as he trying to insert his penis the condom snapped and he immedialtly took it out. There was no penetration at all because soon as the condom broke the tip of his penis came out...I Feel so stupid for not looking at the condom to see if the opening of his penis was still covered or not but all I know is that it broke while trying to insert it...so with that being said am I at risk?
I dont think your at risk, to ease your mind just go and get the test. Its amazing how rude some people can be, especially when you want to hear sound advice, and your really scared. Just because your story doesnt sound as dramatic as some. Doesn't give others the right to disregard your concern..I dont think your ask risk and you asked a legitimate questions. Thats deserves a well thought out answer. Because the more information you get on HIV the better you can protect yourself and others..Hey there is also a spermicide out that kills the hiv virus on contact.Research it, its just nice to know about others means of protection, besides condoms because they do break sometimes..
Thanks man I mean I dont see anyone being rude I guess he just telling me like it is even though Im not sure what to think because I read around on this forum that it takes penetration for transmission but there was no penetration the condom broke while trying to insert and that was that but IDK what to think my eyes are just glued to the screen man waiting for teak or lizzie to reply
I hear u lizzie but what is penetration...I mean I know what it is but in this scenario I want to know am I at risk if the tip of his penis like 1/2 inch was in me when it broke and he pulled out am I at risk.
I mean i could not visual see if it was in me or not I just know that the condom broke while trying to insert it in me so am I at risk?
From everything that I said do you recommend me to get tested?
i think you need to stop with this back and forth about penetration. if his penis went inside of you...even the tip of his penis...then he penetrated you. with that being said...is sounds as if he pulled out as soon as the condom broke, so i would say that your exposure was minimal.
the ONLY way to know one's status is by testing.
please dont come back with further questions about "penetration".
Ok but as I read other thread on this website I see that you said FULL PENETRATION IS REQUIRED FOR TRANSMISSION and I will attach the thread in which you said that I just want a better understand of my risk.
http://www.medhelp.org/posts/HIV-Prevention/Unprotected-sex-with-the-outside-of-vagina-in-10-sec/show/1068602 So is Full Penetration or Partial Penetration or both a risk???
I just need to know this so I can know if I need testing or not and to help me sleep better LIZZIE or TEAK
Thanks in advance
if you're going to pull up old threads...please read the post in it's entirety. the use of the words FULL penetration is used because he was talking about rubbing his penis against a woman's vagina.
penetration does NOT mean that the whole penis has to be inserted...geeeeeeeeeez
I read his post in entirety he stated that, He was rubbing his penis on her vagina and the head of the penis went in her vagina ( only 2-3cm) and last for few seconds".
And thats when you stated that "FULL PENETRATION IS REQUIRED FOR TRANSMISSION"
